The multi-faceted entertainer chats about her new single & more

The multi-faceted Hayley Orrantia debuts her new single, “Gasoline,” today (Fri, Aug 12th). The track is a pop juggernaut that imbues her country trademark, and shows off a new side to her songwriting. It follows the May release of “Open Your Mouth,” in which she calls out her self-obsessed ex.

Orrantia co-wrote “Gasoline” with Ben Zelico and Gregory Furman with features a uptempo R&B pop groove and steel guitar. Zelico also produced the three minute song that’s now available digitally.

From starring in a hit television series to releasing chart-topping singles, Hayley has quickly made a name for herself as one of the most exciting multi-hyphenate talents in the entertainment industry. She is widely recognized for her successful country music career, where she draws on inspiration from all genres to create a perfect soulful, country-pop blend that showcases her expressive, genuine and heartfelt spirit, even paying homage to Dolly Parton.

In television, she can be seen this fall reprising her celebrated role as Erica Goldberg in ABC’s longstanding sitcom, The Goldbergs. The show’s tenth season premieres on September 21st.

Orrantia joins us to talk about “Gasoline,” placing second on Fox’s The Masked Singer, the forthcoming tenth season of The Goldbergs, her starring run on the award-winning Kinky Boots that ran in July at The Hollywood Bowl, as well as what it was like honor Parton on her TV show.
