Kenny Aronoff is one of the most influential and in demand drummers and percussionists in the world. He has entertained millions of people with his drumming, has played on thousands of records, and has been the “go to” drummer for the biggest stars in music, including John Mellencamp, John Fogerty, Elton John, Jon Bon Jovi, Stin, Adele, Bruno Mars, Alice Cooper, Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, Santana, Meat Loaf, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Brian Wilson, Sammy Hagar and countless others.

The self-taught drummer was the driving force behind Mellencamp’s music for 17 years during his early career. The partnership began in 1980 and includes 10 albums and countless tours as the back beat behind the Americana rocker.

Aronoff is credited with having recorded on records that have sold more than 300 million combined with more than 1,300 having been certified Gold, Platinum or Diamond the the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He’s been named the No. 1 Studio Drummer by Modern Drummer Magazine and DRUM! Magazine five times and three times, respectively, voted the No. 1 Pop/Mainstream Drummer by Modern Drummer Magazine five times, and even tops Rolling Stone’s “Top 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time” list.
