Ray chats from Las Vegas

Michael Ray is a multi-Platinum country star who has four No. 1 singles under his belt, has garnered over one billion streams globally, and grew up playing traditional country music in a family band. The country star’s most recent project, The Warehouse Sessions, features live performances of songs from his most recent studio project, Higher Education.

Earlier this year, Ray released a cinematic video for his latest single, “Holy Water.” Filmed near the Florida-native’s hometown of Eustis, “Holy Water” follows a Florida preacher and his lucrative midnight side hustle.

As a fan of 90s country, Ray has released covers of Tracy Lawrence’s “Time Marches On,” Trisha Yearwood’s “Walkaway Joe” and George Strait’s “The Chair” from his upcoming The Bootlegger Sessions EP.

Ray recently chatted with us from Las Vegas where he was on sight for the kick off to the Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) Tournament of Champions LPGA Tour. We chat about his involvement with Hilton Grand Vacations, new music, and how his new “golf” career is going.
