The band launches annual Christmas tour every November
Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis has been America’s favorite holiday tradition for over 35 years. Grammy Award winner Chip Davis has created a show that features the beloved Christmas music of Mannheim Steamroller along with dazzling multimedia effects performed in an intimate setting. Fans can experience the annual magic as the spirit of the season comes alive with the signature sound of Mannheim Steamroller on tour through December 30th. Their holiday CDs have become synonymous with Christmas and continue to occupy top spots on Billboards’s Seasonal charts every year.
Drummer Tom Sharpe is an internationally recognized, award-winning composer, performer, and recording artist. Along with his Mannheim drumming duties, he is a sought out clinician and performer of his own works, and the artistic director and principal performer of the Sharpe World Music Ensemble.
As a 15 year veteran of the group, Sharpe joins us to discuss the band’s legacy and what he hopes fans will love about the band’s annual tours.
