Special edition episode debates 2020 concert season

Dr. Zeke Emanuel, one of the key architects of the Affordable Care Act and a special adviser to the director general of the World Health Organization (WHO), suggests that all mass gatherings, including concerts, be on hold for 18 months while biologists work on a vaccine for COVID-19.

The music industry typically has a “The Show Must Go On” attitude, but with uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and a vaccine a year or more away, many major artists, including Taylor SwiftBon Jovi and Zac Brown Band, have canceled their 2020 tour dates, leaving the future of live music up in the air for the imminent future.

We are guestless on this special edition of The Music Universe Podcast as Buddy Iahn and Matt Bailey debate their thoughts on the 2020 concert series.
