Shelburne returns to the podcast in a special in-person interview
Our Live From Nashville series continues with Kentucky native JD Shelburne, an independent country artist who finances his own records and has a loyal fanbase. Typically, Shelburne finds himself performing more than 200 dates per year in venues ranging from packed clubs to huge festivals, but he’s lost more than 100 dates due to the pandemic.
Shelburne was one of our in-person guests at Nashville Coffees across from the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Resort in Nashville during a mid-November 2020 trip. In this episode, we chat about his cover of Kentucky Living Magazine’s April Edition which is sent to 460k homes. We also go a little more in-depth about the business side of things than most artists are willing to divulge, and we talk about how simple acts of kindness can go a long way.
