Seconds before taking the stage to a sold out crowd at Denver’s Red Rock Amphitheater tonight (August 9th), Eric Church announced a 2017 tour on Facebook Live. The North American 60 plus city run, titled Holdin’ My Own Tour, will officially launch on January 13, 2017 at Lincoln, Nebraska’s Pinnacle Bank Arena and will conclude with two nights at Nashville, Tennessee’s Bridgestone Arena in May.

For the first time ever, there will be no support act on this tour as Church and his band will perform two sets with an intermission in between.

The tour’s only pre-sale, available to members of his fan club known as the Church Choir, runs from September 9th at 11 am CT to on September 11th at 11:59 pm CT. Church’s team has developed a new system to remove scalpers from the pre-sale that ensures fan club members get the best seats at face value. His team has also secured a larger allotment of fan club tickets than in the past so Church Choir members will have much better success buying tickets in the pre-sale.

As on past tours, his team will continue to cancel any and all orders made by scalpers. Church cautions fans to stay away from the secondary market because it’s likely that tickets found there will be invalid by the time the show happens.
