Rock The Ocean, in partnership with Live Nation, has announced the all-star lineup for the sixth-annual Tortuga Music Festival. Country music heavyweights Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban will headline the destination festival’s main stage, taking place across three-days and two stages April 6-8 at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It was also revealed that in addition to the superstar headliners, Brothers Osborne, Lee Brice, Dan + Shay, Russell Dickerson, Kip Moore, Chase Rice, Lucie Silvas, Sister Hazel, The Cadillac Three, Tyminski and more will take to the main stage. The festival’s second stage, dubbed Sunrise Stage, will host an eclectic lineup led by Snoop Dogg and including Cheap Trick, Michael Franti & Spearhead, William Michael Morgan, Muscadine Bloodline, Dylan Scott, Shaggy and Dwight Yoakam. Passes for the reigning ACM “Festival Of The Year” will go on sale December 1st at 10 am ET at TortugaMusicFestival.com.
Known for it’s vacation atmosphere, set against the backdrop of the ocean, fans travel worldwide to attend the festival that takes cues from its namesake (Tortuga is Spanish for turtle), working to protect sea turtles that nest annually along South Florida’s Atlantic seaboard. Tortuga Music Festival also strives to raise funds and awareness of the issues that the world’s ocean currently face, as well as supporting marine conservation and research. Attendees can also learn more about where a portion of the proceeds from their passes go, onsite at the festival at Conservation Village. Offering an arena of exhibits within the festival grounds, fans can experience games, interactive touch tanks, cooking exhibitions, the latest ocean technology, and how they can help make a difference.
The Rock The Ocean Foundation is dedicated to supporting scientific research, education and increasing public awareness about the issues impacting the world’s oceans. RTO teams up with high profile musical artists and entertainers, who will perform and participate in events that educate the public on marine conservation. RTO, founder Chris Stacey is an avid ocean lover, diver and 20 year music industry veteran. Tortuga Music Festival will bring to life his vision, uniting the best and brightest in music, working to raise awareness about the issues currently impacting our oceans and their delicate ecosystems.
