It’s the band’s third consecutive No. 1 album

Grammy-nominated multi-platinum band Fall Out Boy have earned their fourth No. 1 album with the release of their latest studio album M A N I A, which debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week. With 130,000 total equivalent album units sold, the release marks the band’s third consecutive and fourth overall No. 1 album respectively. M A N I A was released January 19th on Island Records/DCD2 Records. Hours after its release, the record claimed the No. 1 spot on iTunes in more than 30 countries including the U.S, UK, Australia, Canada and France. The record currently has five songs on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart, including three in the top ten – “The Last of the Real Ones,” “Young and Menace” & “Champion.” “Hold Me Tight or Don’t” is climbing at radio and playing on stations across the United States.

The band previously hit No. 1 with the 2015’s American Beauty/American Psycho, 2013’s Save Rock and Roll and 2007’s Infinity on High.

Fall Out Boy will bring the chart-topping album on the road to 25+ U.S. cities on the M A N I A Tour beginning August 29th in Uniondale, NY with special guest Machine Gun Kelly on all dates. Gym Class Heroes, Every Time I Die, Against The Current, State Champs, L.I.F.T., and nothing, nowhere will each join the tour on select dates to be announced. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. One dollar from every ticket sold will go to the Fall Out Boy Fund benefiting charities throughout Chicago.

On September 8th, Fall Out Boy will return to their hometown for a special homecoming milestone – their first-ever headline show at Chicago’s iconic Wrigley Field. The band previously performed at Wrigley as MLB’s first-ever live musical performance on Opening Night in April 2015. Most recently, Fall Out Boy took over the 7th inning stretch and sang “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” on September 16, 2017 when the Cubs hosted the St. Louis Cardinals – a game at which Pete Wentz also had the honor of throwing the game’s ceremonial first pitch.

The band will continue celebrating the album’s release with a performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on January 31st.
