“For the Beaten” single available in early 2023

Platinum-selling alternative-industrial rock band Filter has announced a limited edition 7-inch vinyl featuring their latest single “For the Beaten,” which will be available in early 2023 via Golden Robot Records. The exclusive set will be numbered for authenticity and available in purple and gold, with very limited stock available, via the band’s website.

“For the Beaten” is the A-side described by Filter founder Richard Patrick as “dynamic, dark, and heavy, just like the moment we are in.” The track was met with great affection from eager fans and critics alike who had waited two years to hear what was next for Filter. The track was released in October following Patrick joining former and current Nine Inch Nails band members in Cleveland for a NIN surprise reunion show.

The B-side includes “The Killing Field,” the debut track from A Place To Kill, a new industrial trap metal project from Patrick and vocalist Jim Louvau. The 7-inch is the only place to hear APTK at the moment.

Patrick is readying the release of Filter’s eighth studio album in 2023 along with a North American tour. The band will also be featured as part of the lineup for the inaugural Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas on May 13th.

Next year will also a 20th anniversary reissue of Filter’s critically acclaimed third studio album The Amalgamut, marking the band’s very first vinyl pressing. The 2 LP edition will be available March 31st and is presented in a deluxe gatefold jacket and features the hits “Where Do We Go From Here” and “American Cliché,” as well as “The Only Way (Is the Wrong Way),” which was featured in several films and commercials. An autographed opaque white pressing, limited to 500 copies worldwide, is also available exclusively at OfficialFilter.com.
