First Lady Michelle Obama, Kellie Pickler guest star on ‘Nashville’

First Lady Michelle Obama and country star Kellie Pickler are set to guest star as themselves in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Nashville.

In the episode entitled “All or Nothing with Me,” which airs May 7th on the ABC Television Network, the two will appear during a charity concert that Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) organizes at Fort Campbell, KY when she finds out that her beau, fellow country artist Luke Wheeler (Will Chase), is forced to cut his tour short after being hurt in Afghanistan.

Other story lines during the episode include Deacon (Charles Esten) and Maddie (Lennon Stella) charting a new course for their future as they are brought closer together. Teddy (Eric Close) begins to feel like his family is slipping further and further away from him. Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) is racked with guilt knowing that her back is against the wall after Jeff (Oliver Hudson) threatens to go to Avery (Jonathan Jackson) with some type of truth revealed during a previous episode. Gunnar (Sam Palladio) is feeling pressure to reveal a secret about Juliette to Avery until Zoey (Chaley Rose) urges him that his professional and private life should be kept separate. And Will (Chris Carmack) and Layla (Aubrey Peeples) begin shooting their new reality series.

Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10 pm ET/PT on ABC. Check local listings.
