Florence + the Machine announce Australian, New Zealand 2023 tour dates

Dance Fever Tour continues with King Princess

Florence + The Machine will return to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in four years in March 2023 as part of their Dance Fever Tour. Shows will take place in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland, presented by Frontier Touring, Chugg Entertainment and Laneway Presents.

Frontier Members pre-sale starts Wednesday, May 4th at 11 am local time before going on sale to the general public on Friday, May 6th at 11 am local time via Ticketmaster.

The group is touring in support of its fifth studio album, Dance Fever, due May 13th via UMG. The album is produced by Florence Welch, Jack Antonoff and Dave Bayley of Glass Animals. The album was recorded predominantly in London over the course of the pandemic in anticipation of the world’s reopening.

Florence + The Machine last toured Australia and New Zealand in 2019 to much acclaim, wowing audiences with breathtaking vocals, spellbinding choreography and moments of aural captivation that can only be experienced live. Australia was one of the first countries outside the UK to adopt Florence + The Machine as their own, landing a spot in the line-up at Laneway Festival in 2010. With a huge fan base down under, the band has sold over one million albums in Australia and boasting 412 million Australian streams.

American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist King Princess (aka Mikaela Straus) will open at each of the Australian and New Zealand shows. Her newest album is due later this year.

The group will launch the Dance Fever Tour in North America this fall with support from Arlo Parks, Sam Fender, King Princess, Yves Tumor, Japanese Breakfast and Wet Leg will join as support on select dates.
