Florida Georgia Line announce ‘Greatest Hits’ album

Album will be available this fall

Big Machine Label Group is recapping Florida Georgia Line’s 12-year career with their first-ever Greatest Hits album. The 18 track project is set for release on Glass Clear LP vinyl on October 28th through Target and features three previously unreleased songs. A digital edition will be available November 9th with the CD to follow on November 11th.

Country duo Florida Georgia Line, formed in 2010 by Florida-native Brian Kelley and Georgia-native Tyler Hubbard, has more than left its mark on the American country music space. With hit songs like “Meant To Be,” “You’re Country,” and “Simple,” the Grammy-nominated pair has sold over 26 million tracks and 3.5 million albums. Creating emotional songs which perfectly combine modern and traditional country styles, Florida Georgia Line received RIAA’s Diamond certification to celebrate 10 million sold copies of hit “Cruise” — which has been newly certified 14x Platinum — and additionally held the longest spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 50 straight weeks. “I Love My Country,” which has newly been certified Platinum by the RIAA, is also featured.

The duo recently wrapped their final set of tour dates together as both Kelley and Hubbard focus on solo careers. Last year, they initially announced they would be releasing solo projects as they continued to release and perform as the chart-topping genre-bending duo.

“I think ‘taking a break’ is the proper term, as opposed to breaking up,” Hubbard says.

“We’re not going our separate ways,” Kelley adds. “We’re taking a break from recording our music. We’re being artists. We love creating. And so a couple years back, we started writing without each other and trying different writers, and now we’re both doing that with our music.”

Hubbard’s highly anticipated debut solo album will be released on January 27, 2023 via EMI Nashville. Kelley recently returned to Big Machine Label Group after releasing his solo effort, Sunshine State of Mind which was released via Warner Music Nashville after initially signing for solo music in March 2021. He backed the wave-making release with sold out shows on his Made by the Water Tour, after an unparalleled decade-plus as one half of GRAMMY-nominated duo Florida Georgia Line.
