Country duo Florida Georgia Line has announced the This Is How We Roll Summer Series 2014 tour with rapper Nelly and opening performer Chris Lane.
The tour will ‘Roll’ through nine minor league ball parks and stadiums in the Southeast and Midwest. It kicks off May 30th in Springdale, AR and wraps June 22nd in Ashville, NC with two TBA cities and parks set for June 1st and 14th.
The tour capitalizes off the massive success of the duo’s hit “Cruise,” which set a record for Top Selling Country Digital Song of All Time, selling over six million digital copies, with 40% of those sales from a remix featuring Nelly.
Although released in summer 2012, the song spent 24 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the charts in 2013, breaking the record for the longest-running No. 1 in the 70 year history of the Hot Country Songs chart. It also also reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 7 on the Pop Songs radio chart.
The duo recently released the video for their latest single, “This Is How We Roll,” featuring country superstar Luke Bryan on ABC’s Good Morning America.
