Florida Georgia Line releases ‘New Truck’

Track appears on Life Rolls On

Global superstars Florida Georgia Line crank it up a notch with their high-powered song โ€œNew Truck.โ€ Capturing the pure joy of a brand-new ride, the half-ton hooks and heavy-duty bump celebrates every country boyโ€™s dream come true. The release revs up excitement for FGLโ€™s highly-anticipated fifth studio album, Life Rolls On, arriving February 12th via BMLG Records.

โ€œWith โ€˜New Truckโ€™ we were like, โ€˜Man, this feels good. I just want to ride around in my truck, listen to this, and have a song to jam to,โ€™โ€ shares FGLโ€™s Tyler Hubbard. โ€œWhen any of our buddies get a new truck now, we can send it to them and say, โ€˜Yo, bump this in the truck!โ€™โ€

FGLโ€™s Brian Kelley agrees, โ€œIt feels really different and fresh. Itโ€™s got a fun innocence about it too.โ€

Hubbard and Kelley penned and produced the tune alongside Corey Crowder, Jeff โ€œGittyโ€ Gitelman, and Priscilla Renea, with Raysean Hairston and Blake Redferrin also serving as writers. Hubbardโ€™s hip hop flow ticks off a wish-list full of souped-up features, as the pair hit a trail marked by high times in low gear over a bouncing piano melody and banjo-tinged backroad beat.

As FGL continues to make their own route in mood-boosting style,ย Life Rolls On packs in 16 tracks including current Top 20 single, โ€œLong Live,โ€ and their 17th career No. 1, โ€œI Love My Country.โ€ Hubbard and Kelley tally 13 writing credits across the first full-length album that they co-produced with Crowder.
