Seven new dates have been confirmed

Hot on the heels of Foo Fighters’ recent announcement of their first three headline shows of 2023, the band has now confirmed seven more new dates with stops in Spokane; Salt Lake City; Sateline, NV; Virginia Beach; Phoenix and El Paso. The band will also headline the final night of Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival in Dana Point, CA on October 1st. Support on the Spokane, Salt Lake City, Stateline and Virginia Beach dates will be The Breeders.

Tickets for all six shows will be on sale to the public beginning Friday, April 14th at 10 am local time with a foofighters.com pre-sale beginning today (Tues, Apr 11th) at 1 pm ET.

Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, April 11th at 1 pm ET until Thursday, April 13th at 10 pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program.

Foo Fighters are set to open The Atlantis, a new 450-capacity venue in Washington, DC fashioned as a near replica of the original 9:30 Club next door. The concert is May 30th, the anniversary of the original 9:30 Club’s opening in 1980. The group is among 44 artists to perform $44 concerts for the inaugural run of shows through the fall celebrating the venue’s 44th anniversary.

The band still has yet to announce its drummer following the unexpected passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022. Hawkins was found dead in his Bogota, Colombia hotel room on March 25th while the group was on tour in South America. Initial results released by the Colombia Attorney General’s Office over the weekend indicate marijuana, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids were among 10 different substances found in his body. Further details reveal that Hawkins had a “cardiovascular collapse” after binging on a bevy of drugs in his Four Seasons hotel room. Forensic experts have also revealed that his heart weighed 600 grams (1.3 pounds), double the average size of a man his age of 50 years old.

The band canceled the remainder of its 2022 tour dates, but reunited in September 2022 to host two Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts. The events took place at London’s Wembley Stadium and Los Angeles’ Forum with all-star lineups that included members of AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, Metallica, Blink 182, Pretenders and more.
