Foreigner announces 2025 Canadian tour dates with guest vocalist

The band’s rep confirms Kelly Hansen will not perform during the run

Foreigner will embark on a 2025 Canadian tour with guest vocalist Geordie Brown, who played the male lead in the workshop production of the band’s upcoming Juke Box Hero, The Musical.

The band’s rep confirms to The Music Universe that current vocalist Kelly Hansen will not be part of the Canadian run. “Some issues have forced Kelly to limit his time outside of the US, so he will not be part of this Canadian tour. He is still with Foreigner.”

Tickets go on sale on March 28th via the band’s website.

Canadian rockers 54.40 will open most shows.

“I was most impressed by Geordie’s performances of Juke Box Hero, The Musical in Canada,” Foreigner founder Mick Jones shares. “He is not only a consummate vocalist, but a verified Broadway actor to boot. We look forward to welcoming him at our shows on Foreigner’s 2025 Canadian tour.”

The band has extended Farewell Tour to include a celebration of the band’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. Original band members will join the legendary group at select shows, including vocalist Lou Gramm who most recently appeared at a Florida show to sing two songs.

Juke Box Hero, The Musical is slated to go into production in 2026. Further details are forthcoming.

Responsible for some of rock and roll’s most enduring anthems including “Juke Box Hero,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Feels Like The First Time,” “Urgent,” “Head Games,” “Say You Will,” and the worldwide No. 1 hit and member of Spotify’s exclusive Billions Club, “I Want To Know What Love Is,” Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Foreigner still rocks the charts almost 50 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success.
