Garbage announces Strange Little Birds US tour

Garbage (Shirley Manson, Steve Marker, Duke Erikson and Butch Vig) have announced the Strange Little Birds U.S. tour in support of their forthcoming new album Strange Little Birds. The dates will kick off on July 6th at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Tickets will be available for purchase starting this Friday, May 6th.

Garbage will offer VIP experience packages for the U.S. tour through Adventures in Wonderland. Offers will include early entry, sound check access, Q&A, meet and greets, photo with the band, and exclusive merch. VIP packages will go on sale Friday May 6th.

Garbage will also appear at KROQ’s annual Weenie Roast alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, and others on May 14th.

Earlier this month Garbage unveiled their new single “Empty” from their forthcoming sixth studio album, due out on June 10th on the band’s own label STUNVOLUME. Strange Little Birds was recorded and produced by the band in Los Angeles and is the follow up to 2012’s heralded Not Your Kind of People.

To celebrate the release of Strange Little Birds, the band invites fans to join them for a special listening party at the historic East West Studios in Los Angeles on May 17th. Those in attendance will have the chance to be among the first to hear the new album in full and will be treated to a three-song performance, a Q&A detailing the making of the album, and much more.
