Louisiana native Garrett Jacobs is back in action with his new track titled “Into A Bar,” and it’s his best one yet. Written by Jacobs, Jordan Walker (“When It Rains, It Pours” – Luke Combs & “Mixed Drinks” by Mitchell Tenpenny) and Jacob Davis, the track puts a different spin on “bar” songs as a breakup song. The country singer/songwriter is keeping things “business as usual” with his storytelling despite being in the midst of an unfortunate pandemic.
The track is about an underage Jacobs wishing he was of age so he could mend his broken heart at a bar with others feeling the same way. The 21 year old Jacobs thinks his younger fans will heavily relate to this track.
“I hope it resonates the same way it resonated with me,” he shares. “I wrote it when I was 20 and all I wanted to do was get in the bars and I couldn’t so I know people will feel the exact same way I did back then.”
This track is a growing point for Jacobs, lyrically and vocally. It’s a brilliant concept to dedicate a song to a crowd of people who are typically left out of country music lyrics – those who are under 21. Jacobs soft glassy vocals tells a unique story that is a mainstream hit that doesn’t miss one mark.
Garrett Jacobs is a marvelous talent with poise and dedication beyond his years. He is charming, a great conversationalist and has an array of talents as it pertains to music. Keep an eye on him because 2021 is certainly his year.
