Garth Brooks has added one last show to Chicago. It will be Friday, September 5th, 10:30 pm at the Allstate Arena. This first stop on the world tour has already shattered Brooks’ previous record for ticket sales in a single city in North America. Previously, the record was 162,822 tickets sold for the Target Center in Minneapolis from October 6th through the 14th, 1998.
“After seeing how happy everyone was in Atlanta about ticket access, I feel whatever the problem was has now been fixed,” Brooks states. “I would like to put on one more show in Chicago so people that wanted tickets and could not get in the system, now have a chance to see the show and get their tickets at face value and NOT have to go through the scalper/broker systems if they don’t want to.”
Tickets for the September 5th, 10:30 pm show will be on sale this Saturday, August 23rd at 10 am CST. There will be a six ticket limit per purchase. They can be purchased at ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks, 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express 1-866-448-7849. Please note there will be no sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on August 23rd. Tickets will cost $56.94 plus $2.56 tax plus $6.00 service charges, totaling $65.50.
