Garth Brooks adds second Edmonton show

New show is June 24th

Garth Brooks is performing another show for Edmonton, AB. The new opening night concert will be Friday, June 24th with the second night being Saturday, June 25th at Commonwealth Stadium.

The first concert sold out in 45 minutes. This will be the country star’s first time at Commonwealth Stadium and the only Stadium Tour appearance in Canada.

Tickets will be on sale, Friday, May 12th at 10 am MT via Ticketmaster, 1-877-654-2784 or through the Ticketmaster App on your mobile phone. There will be no ticket sales at the venue box office on Friday, May 12th.

Tickets will cost $104.95, all inclusive. It will be in-the-round seating.

Two cities are left to be announced as the Stadium Tour concludes with five sold out shows in Dublin, Ireland this September. Four hundred thousand tickets sold out within four hours, marking a new milestone for the country star who hasn’t performed in the city in 25 years.

Since the tour began in March 2019, Brooks has broken 24 attendance records and has sold an average of 90,000 tickets in each city. His largest single show so far on this trek is Baton Rouge with a sell out of 102,000 ticket sellout in two hours which registered as a small earthquake during “Callin’ Baton Rouge.”

Brooks returned to Notre Dame over the weekend after selling out the famed venue in October 2018. It was to be the conclusion of the Stadium Tour, but was extended a few months due to the pandemic and venue availability.

He recently sold out his first-ever headlining appearance at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX which prompted standing room tickets to be offered at half price. Additional shows were added in Nashville (which we attended), Cincinnati, Charlotte and Foxborough. They were among the six cities that were canceled due to rising COVID cases last summer.

This summer, Brooks is returning to Salt Lake City for two more shows after selling out the venue in less than 30 minutes in 2021. The second show is Saturday, June 18th and sold more than 50,000 tickets in 45 minutes before quickly selling out last week. Overwhelming demand prompted a new show for June 17th which sold out 40,000 tickets in 40 minutes.
