Concert in July 31st

Garth Brooks is performing his first-ever concert at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on July 31st. The event is part of the Garth Brooks Stadium Tour that is expected to run through summer 2022.

Tickets will cost $94.95, all inclusive and go on sale Friday, June 25th at 10 am CDT via ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks, the Garth Brooks line at Ticketmaster at 1-877-654-2784 or through the Ticketmaster App on your mobile phone. Please note there will be no ticket sales at the venue box office on Friday, June 25th.

The concert will be in-the-round seating and will be full-capacity.

Despite added costs due to COVID, Brooks doesn’t plan to raise ticket prices.

“You’re either going to make an absurd amount of money or you’re going to make a lesser absurd amount of money — but I can’t imagine raising the ticket prices to make sure you keep making the absurd amount of money. My thing is if we make 100% of each ticket — and because of the COVID regulations and restrictions that we have to put in and pay for, we make 95% — I’m more than OK with that,” Brooks shares with Billboard.

He says the added costs are worth keeping the show on the road.

“That’s a lot of stadium expenses: The sanitization of everything, the addition of masks, the addition of hand sanitization stations. We go to the stadium and go, ‘Ok, show us your expenses there and let’s share in them because you shouldn’t be taking them all on’ — but I gotta tell you, they’re going way over the top. And I’m fine with that, because if we can get to January of ’22 and not shut this thing down, then we have a good chance of finishing strong.”

Nashville is the fifth new show announced since the pandemic. Last week, Brooks broke the entertainment record for GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, in just one hour with more than 74,500 tickets sold. The event is sold out.

Last month, Brooks broke the Ticketmaster record for the fastest stadium sell out in US history after selling more than 50k tickets to his Salt Lake City show in under 30 minutes. Another four thousand tickets sold out after construction was completed on Rice-Eccles Stadium. A few weeks ago, Brooks sold over 70k tickets in 47 minutes for his August 14th performance at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE. The concert sold all 83k tickets within an hour and a half.

Brooks is set to resume The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour on July 10th with a sold out show in Las Vegas, marking the first live event at Allegiant Stadium, and first show back since being sidelined by COVID. Many new tickets have opened for Garth in Vegas that will go on sale on June 21st. It was one of three announced concerts that had to be postponed from 2020.

Brooks’ other two announced 2020 stadium dates have been postponed multiple times due to social distancing restrictions. The Cincinnati date — originally scheduled for Paul Brown Stadium for May 16th, but rescheduled for June 27th, and then for May 1st — will now happen on September 18th with Charlotte — originally scheduled for Bank of America Stadium on May 2nd, and then rescheduled for June 13th, then bumped again to October 10th and then to April 10th — will now happen on September 25th. All tickets for each original date will be honored for the respective new ones.

Brooks will also headline opening night of Cheyenne Frontier Days with special guest Ned LeDoux on Friday, July 23rd with a sold out show. Tickets went on sale on April 15th and sold out within an hour. Many fans were put in the queue but were unable to secure tickets.

The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour was set to hit 10-12 cities per year for an initial three year run with most of the venues being college stadiums. Brooks has confirmed stadium tour dates are scheduled through summer of 2022, with several unannounced dates having been rescheduled due to the pandemic. Due to lost time from the pandemic, Brooks is doubling down the concerts and performing steadily through the last half of the year.

Since The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour launch in March 2019, Brooks has broken stadium attendance records in St. Louis, MO at The Dome at America’s Center, Glendale, AZ at State Farm Stadium, Gainesville, FL at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, two sold out nights at Minneapolis, MN’s U.S. Bank Stadium, Denver, CO at Mile High Stadium, Eugene, OR at Autzen Stadium and two sold out nights at Boise, ID’s Albertsons Stadium shows, both of which sold out in under an hour. Brooks also broke records at Regina, SK’s Mosaic Stadium show on August 10th that sold out in under a hour, averaging just over 75,000 tickets in each city. Brooks added a second date in Regina, SK on August 9th due to demand. He hosted record-breaking numbers in Boise, ID with 86,000 in attendance for two back to back shows, with special guest Blake Shelton tagging along for the first night to perform their new single “Dive Bar” which was recorded and filmed.

In November 2019, Brooks set the concert ticket sales record at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, TN. Brooks broke the internet, literally, when the initial round of tickets went on sale in September, freezing Ticketmaster’s systems. Moving at over one thousand tickets a minute, the Garth Brooks Stadium Tour ticket on sale for Knoxville, TN came to a halt when the system could not open tickets fast enough to keep up with the demand. Over 80,000 tickets were sold after production hold seats were released and sold out in minutes.

The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour averaged just over 83,000 tickets in each city and over a million tickets sold to date. Brooks has shattered attendance records in over 75 cities.

Brooks will bid farewell to legendary Studio 6A, longtime home to iconic music series Austin City Limits, with a pair of intimate performances on July 20th and July 21st. This event, originally scheduled for May 24, 2020 and delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will now feature two nights with the country superstar. Brooks returns to the original Austin City Limits stage where it all began for a memorable send-off to the historic Studio 6A on the University of Texas campus. Austin PBS’s Farewell to Studio 6A: An Evening with Garth Brooks will be a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating the iconic institution and also a fundraiser for the public television station, Austin PBS, that produces the series.
