Legacy will be available November 1st

Garth Brooks has announced his highly anticipated new vinyl projectLegacy. Brooks detailed the set greatly on his weekly Facebook Live series, Inside Studio G Monday night (Feb 25th). The project will be available for reserve beginning Tuesday, February 26th at 7 pm ET via TalkShopLive.com for a limited time allowing fans to purchase a unique numbered edition special to them.

The vinyl collection features three packages. One package will contain the original recordings, the second features a remixed and remastered edition and the third includes a limited edition version. Some details are still unknown as of press time, but it appears the sets will contain No Fences, In Pieces, The Chase, Fresh Horses and Triple Live, which will contain six different covers placed randomly throughout the sets.

Brooks also shares that CDs of each album will be included as well featuring bonus tracks. The bonus tracks were not revealed as of press time.

“I promise what you’re gonna hear will blow your mind,” Brooks states.

The front cover features a photo of a NASA astronaut on the Apollo 14 mission with a selfie Brooks took on stage with the crowd superimposed in the helmet. The image was inspired by a radio programmer who claimed Brooks would be the first artist to play on the moon. The limited edition cover is holographic.

Brooks is allowing fans of his Facebook Live series to reserve the numbered editions first for the band a crew pricing of $100. He assures fans there will be other opportunities to purchase the three package set, but not at the same price and without being numbered.

Each vinyl package will also be available individually via retail this fall. The original recordings and remixed/remastered editions will retail for $50 each with the limited edition set retailing for $80. Each vinyl package will take eight months to make across four different continents with roughly one hundred thousand man hours. They will be ready to ship as of November 1st and only available to customers with a U.S. shipping address.

More details will be announced when they become available.
