It’s expected that Brooks will announce his comeback
Garth Brooks has announced a press conference for Thursday (July 10th) at his website.
The country superstar teased fans last week with the cryptic message, “The wait is over…7/7” and fans and the media have been expecting a tour announcement today (July 7th). Instead, the he has made it known that a press conference will be streamed at GarthBrooks.com on Thursday at noon ET/9 am PT.
While very few details are known about the press conference, many are expecting the announcement of his three year comeback world tour that Brooks confirmed in December. Fans are also hoping that he will announce a new solo album, the follow up to his #1 selling eight disc Blame It All On My Roots: Five Decades Of Influences released through Walmart last year.
The five Ireland concerts making up “The Garth Brooks Comeback Special Event” are up in the air. The Dublin City Council denied licenses for two of the five planned shows at Croke Park, but Brooks has stated that it’s “all or nothing,” likely not leave any fans disappointed. Concert promoter Aiken Promotions is scrambling to find an alternative to make the events happen.
We will have the breaking news when it becomes available.
