Garth Brooks announces San Diego Stadium Tour stop

San Diego will be the final West Coast stop

Garth Brooks is set for San Diego’s Petco Park for the first time ever on Saturday, March 5th. The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour will be his first performance in the city in nearly seven years.

This will be the only Stadium Tour date on the West Coast. There will be no other Stadium Tour dates in California, Arizona or Nevada.

Tickets will be on sale, Friday, January 14th at 10 am PT via Ticketmaster, 1-877-654-2784 or through the Ticketmaster App on your mobile phone. Please note there will be no ticket sales at the venue box office on Friday, January 14th.

It will be in-the-round seating. There will be an eight ticket limit per purchase.

Tickets will cost $94.95, all inclusive.

Brooks canceled the remaining 2021 dates due to the COVID resurgence towards the end of summer. He has been performing at smaller more intimate venues due to easier enforcement of vaccination status.

Brooks has previously announced 2022 Stadium Tour dates for Orlando, Fayetteville, AR and Baton Rouge, LA. Seventeen US dates are scheduled for this year before wrapping with a five night sold out stand at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland in September. On Thanksgiving, Brooks sold over 400,000 tickets for the Stadium Tour finale, a feat done by the country star himself in 2014 to start the Comeback Tour in Dublin, but due to unforeseen circumstances, all five shows were cancelled.

Brooks will head back to Las Vegas next month for a pair of solo acoustic shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Garth Brooks: The ONE Man Show is set for February 4th and 5th with a limited capacity.

These intimate shows follow a trifecta of Nashville solo shows last month. Before Thanksgiving, Brooks wrapped a three night mini residency at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House and Ryman Auditorium which he teases is a pre-curser to the fall of 2022. All three shows were not sold to capacity but sold out within minutes.
