Third date is Sept 23rd

Garth Brooks is heading to Texas for stop number three on his seven city Dive Bar Tour. The place will be at Gruene Hall in Gruene, Texas on Monday, September 23rd. The country superstar announced the state on Monday’s (Aug 19th) Facebook Live Series, Inside Studio G. He left it to local country radio to announce the city and date.

Tickets for the Dive Bar Tour are not available for sale. The only way into the shows is to win via country radio contests. All winners must be 21 and over and admission is not transferable.

Fans also have a chance to win a trip to see one of the last five Dive Bar Tour performances during a national contest. Fans who sign up at garthdivebarsweeps.com can spend the weekend at the deep end of a dive bar. Round trip domestic, coach air transportation, airport transportation and event transportation, two nights standard hotel accommodations and one admission for one winner and one guest to attend a Dive Bar show will be given away.

Brooks opened the short Dive Bar Tour at Joe’s in Chicago on July 15th. Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace in Bakersfield was the second stop on August 15th.

The seven trek tour is in support of “Dive Bar,” Brooks’ latest single that features Blake Shelton. Shelton has not been announced to perform at any of the Dive Bar Tour dates. “Dive Bar” was currently available only via country radio until Amazon Prime Day, when it became available on July 15th at Amazon Music. A video is also planned for release this summer.

Upon its exclusive radio window, the song was the most added at country radio with 135 total stations, landing at No. 23 on Mediabase, and the second highest debut on Billboard of 2019 at No. 16. “Dive Bar” is taken from Brooks’ forthcoming studio album Fun, and is his first musical collaboration with Shelton, whose current hit, “God’s Country,” landed at No. 1 earlier this month.

Brooks has joined Seagram’s 7 to declare this the summer of Dive Bars with the pair pledging to #JoinThePact to help make our roads safer for everyone by never driving impaired. Together, Brooks and Seagram’s 7 have committed to securing 700,000 pledges this summer from dive bar patrons across the country at jointhepact.com.
