Garth Brooks breaks Iowa ticket record, adds more shows

Garth Brooks has broken his Iowa ticket sales record with over 70,000 tickets sold in just over an hour for Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. His previous record was held in Ames, IA. Garth sold 42,391 tickets, October 17-19, 1996, at the Hilton Coliseum. This will be the only stop in Iowa on the world tour.

Due to high demand, Brooks has added five more shows in addition to the originally announced April 30th concert. The six concerts at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA, will be:

Friday, April 29th 10:30 PM
Saturday, April 30th 7 PM
Saturday, April 30th 10:30 PM
Sunday, May 1st 7:30 PM
Tuesday, May 3rd 7:30 PM

There is an eight ticket limit per purchase. Tickets can only be purchased at or 1-844-4-GarthB (1-844-442-7842).

Tickets cost $63.66 plus a $3.82 tax, a $2 facility fee and a $5.50 service charge for a total of $74.98.
