Brooks sells 122,000 tickets for two shows

A few hours ago, we reported that Garth Brooks had sold more than 100,000 tickets for his two shows in Edmonton. Now, the country superstar has broken two new records on the Stadium Tour after selling out both shows.

Brooks has the record for the fastest sell out ever for the Saturday show with 61,000 tickets sold in 45 minutes. He also holds the record for the most tickets sold for a tour in Commonwealth Stadium history with 122,000 purchased after the Friday show went on sale this morning (Thurs, May 12th).

“I’m not sure what we are seeing on tour right now when it comes to the record numbers is so much a reflection of Garth Brooks. I believe the people are experiencing the joy of being back where they belong and that is together,” Brooks shares. “I feel lucky to be a part of it.”

The concerts will be Friday, June 24th and Saturday, June 25th. Both start at 7 pm.

Since the tour began in March 2019, Brooks has broken nearly 30 attendance records and has sold an average of 90,000 tickets in each city. His largest single show so far on this trek is Baton Rouge with a sell out of 102,000 ticket sellout in two hours which registered as a small earthquake during “Callin’ Baton Rouge.”

Other upcoming stops include two make up shows this weekend in Cincinnati, two make up shows next weekend in Foxborough, MA, a sold out show in Birmingham on June 4th, two sold out shows when he returns to Salt Lake City on June 17th and 18th, two make up shows in Charlotte, a July 23rd stop at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY, and a sold out appearance at his first-ever headlining show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on July 30th.

One city remains to be announced as the Stadium Tour concludes with five sold out shows in Dublin, Ireland this September. Four hundred thousand tickets sold out within four hours, marking a new milestone for the country star who hasn’t performed in the city in 25 years.
