Garth Brooks is ready to make ‘Friends In Low Places’ on social media

Garth Brooks has finally joined social media. Brooks officially launched his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts on Tuesday (Nov 11th).

“I really wasn’t sure about this at the start,” Brooks states in a video posted to Facebook. “But then a friend of mine said something that just made all kinds of sense. She said, ‘Think of it more as a conversation.’ I like that!

“But I’m already finding out on my own that it’s wiping the walls out between you and me, and I really like that. It allows us into each other’s worlds, or I guess in my case, hotel room,” he continues with a laugh.

Brooks launched his accounts to more than one million Facebook followers and 2100 Twitter followers. Instagram has nearly 100 followers as of this writing but is sure to expand as he encourages fans to #AskGarth anything through the outlet.
