In the midst of his record-breaking tour, and after selling two shows as the first country artist to perform at the new Yankee Stadium, music superstar Garth Brooks will launch “Inside Studio G,” a weekly Facebook Live series that will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his next album. These 10-15 minute sessions will feature personal stories from Brooks’ time on the road, insight into the creation of his new album, and even some sneak peeks at the new music and lyrics. Brooks will preview this new initiative on Monday, July 11th, and “Inside Studio G” will officially debut on Monday, July 18th at 7 pm EST, on his Facebook Page, continuing every Monday at this time leading up to his album release date.

Garth Brooks was an early-adopter of Facebook Live, one of the first utilizing the live video feature, by pulling back the curtain and bringing his fans backstage for Opening Night Live on each tour stop, accumulating millions of views along the way. After listening to his fans and engaging with them on Facebook, Brooks wants to pull back the curtain even further and invite them along for the process of creating his new album. “Inside Studio G” will give viewers the opportunity to join Brooks and interact with him on this journey of creating his next album, what he calls “their” album, follow along as he develops new music, get hints at new lyrics and snippets of the music, meet other people involved in the album, watch Brooks’ working process, and watch as the album comes together from concept to fruition, including song titles, cover art, packaging, and more. Fans will also be encouraged to #AskGarth video questions on Instagram prior to the broadcast, and select questions will be answered during the live stream.

Garth Brooks is certified by the RIAA as the #1-selling solo artist in U.S. history with over 137 million albums. He has received every accolade the recording industry can bestow on an artist. Garth has been inducted into the International Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Country Music Hall of Fame and most recently, the Musicians Hall of Fame.

Brooks is currently on the three year Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood. The tour began with 11 sold out shows at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. The tour is smashing records previously held by such act as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and even Garth Brooks. In just over a year and a half, the tour is approaching five million tickets sold making it the biggest tour in the world.
