Brooks will perform at Diamond Ballroom on Oct 11th

Garth Brooks’ next Dive Bar Tour stop at Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City on October 11th received over 10,000 entries in the first 40 minutes, crashing the 93.3 Jake-FM app to request tickets on Wednesday (Sept 15th). This continued with every opportunity to enter for tickets, adding up to over 130,000 enquiries since the launch on Wednesday.

“Let me get this straight…93.3 Jake-FM is only a couple of days in on the dive bar promotion and have had 130,000 entries for a venue that is issuing 700 tickets???? That’s not just crazy, that’s INSANE!!!” Brooks shares.

“I can’t even find words,” says station APD Carly Rae. “This is groundbreaking,” she adds, explaining that interest goes beyond those trying to win their way in to the Dive Bar show – people who aren’t even aware of the process are still emailing, calling and texting the station and its staff with inquiries of their own about how to win tickets!”

“This is the biggest promotion in 93.3 Jake FM’s history,” adds OM/PD Kevin Christopher.

The only way in to this concert is to win through country radio. All entrants must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.

Brooks announced the stop earlier this week on his Facebook Live series, Inside Studio G. Despite canceling the remaining 2021 dates of his stadium tour due to a resurgence of rising COVID cases, he says the Dive Bar shows can continue due to easier enforcement of vaccination status for a few hundred fans instead of tens of thousands that flock to his sell out stadium shows.

Additional Dive Bar Tour dates are expected throughout the fall. The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour will likely return in 2022 which could include three shows at Dublin’s Croke Park in September.
