Garth Brooks performs to largest crowd at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field

Brooks’ monumental tour continues to break records in eight stadiums

The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour continues to break records with an unforgettable sold out show at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday (May 18th). Brooks hosted over 75,000 fans, “it was not only the biggest concert but the biggest event in Heinz Field history, making it also the biggest ticketed show in Pittsburgh history” (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette).

Since launching the monumental tour, Brooks has played consecutive sell outs, breaking attendance records in St. Louis, MO at The Dome at America’s Center, Glendale, AZ at State Farm Stadium, Gainesville, FL at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and two sold-out nights at Minneapolis, MN’s U.S. Bank Stadium. Upcoming shows are already sold out in Denver, CO at Mile High Stadium on June 8th; Eugene, OR at Autzen Stadium on June 29th with Boise, ID’s Albertsons Stadium show on July 20th selling out in under an hour, averaging just over 75,000 tickets in each city.

Brooks has sold more than 600 thousand tickets for the eight cities already announced.

The country superstar is known for keeping fans front of mind, and purposefully sets ticket prices below $100. Adding a refreshing dimension to Brooks’ esteemed live show experience, Darius Rucker, Midland, Chris Young, Easton Corbin and King Calaway have been surprise additions, announced just days in advance of the shows.

Brooks is also breaking records with his new vinyl collection, Legacy. The four pre-sale windows for exclusive numbered editions have seen Brooks move over one million vinyl records, but the sets won’t even ship until November since they take eight months to make in four different countries. The sets will include five album titles across seven vinyl records, including Triple Live.

Last summer, Brooks debuted new tracks from his forthcoming album, Fun, which was slated for a fall 2018 release and then spring 2019 release, but no updates have been given as of press time. Triple Live, which was released digitally as a Fan Mix last August and then part of the The Anthology III: Live book/CD set, has yet to see a standalone release.
