Garth Brooks, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ed Sheeran are among the artists who have received multi-Platinum status by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). A total of 49 albums and 110 digital singles have been awarded in June 2016 as part of Mid Year’s Best.

Brooks’ The Ultimate Hits was certified nine times Platinum for the three disc set released in 2007. The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Californication received six times certification while their Stadium Arcadium album received triple Platinum. Digital songs awarded multi-Platinum status include Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” was awarded five and six time Platinum status for digital single as was Cee Lo Green’s “Fuck You/Forget You” six and seven times Platinum. Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising” was also awarded double Platinum status.

Rihanna and Drake topped Spotify’s playlist of RIAA certified streams with “Work” from ANTI. Fifth Harmony, Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande and Future with The Weeknd round out the top five.

Other artists awarded either gold, Platinum or multi-Platinum status include Bruno Mars, Flo Rida, Jason Mraz, Justin Timberlake, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande and more.
