Garth Brooks returns to Atlanta after 18 years on world tour

The first southern stop on The Garth Brooks World Tour is Atlanta. It will be the first time Garth has played Atlanta in 18 years. The concert will be Friday, September 19th at 6:30 pm at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.

Tickets will be on sale Friday, August 8th at 10 am EDT. There will be a six ticket limit per purchase. They can be purchased at, 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express 1-866-448-7849. Please note there will be no sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on August 8th.

Tickets will cost $56.94 plus $4.56 tax, a $4 facility fee and a $6 service charge, totaling $71.50.

Brooks called Atlanta radio station KICKS 101.5 FM to share the news Wednesday morning (July 30th).

Brooks kicks off the Garth Brooks World Tour in Chicago on September 4th where he shattered his own record for ticket sales for Chicago. One show was planned but added nine more after overwhelming ticket demand. The ten shows are slated to run two consecutive weekends through September 14th with Brooks performing two shows on September 6th, 12th and 13th.
