New opening night is June 17th

Garth Brooks has sold 40,000 tickets in under 40 minutes for his third show in Salt Lake City in less than a year. The new show is set for Friday, June 17th at Rice-Eccles Stadium and tickets are still selling.

Brooks is returning the city for two more shows after selling out the venue in less than 30 minutes in 2021. The second show is Saturday, June 18th and sold more than 50,000 tickets in 45 minutes before quickly selling out last week. Overwhelming demand prompted a new show for June 17th.

This will be the only return date in any North American city and is Brooks’ last Stadium Tour concert in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.

Two cities remain to be announced as the Stadium Tour concludes with five sold out shows in Dublin, Ireland this September. Four hundred thousand tickets sold out within four hours, marking a new milestone for the country star who hasn’t performed in the city in 25 years.

Since the tour began in March 2019, Brooks has broken 24 attendance records and has sold an average of 90,000 tickets in each city. His largest single show so far on this trek is Baton Rouge with a sell out of 102,000 ticket sellout in two hours for this weekend at Louisiana State University.

Brooks will make good on a promise to return to Notre Dame this spring after selling out the famed venue in October 2018.

He recently sold out his first-ever headlining appearance at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX which prompted standing room tickets to be offered at half price. Additional shows were added in Nashville (which we attended), Cincinnati, Charlotte and Foxborough. They were among the six cities that were canceled due to rising COVID cases last summer.

Brooks is taking the trek to the Great White North when he appears at Edmonton, Alberta, Canada’s Commonwealth Stadium on June 25th. This will be star’s first time at the venue and the only Stadium Tour appearance in Canada. More than 160,000 fans attended the Edmonton arena concerts in 2017.
