Brooks will perform at Commonwealth Stadium

Garth Brooks has sold over 100,000 tickets for his two upcoming shows at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton next month, and tickets are still selling. The concerts will be Friday, June 24th and Saturday, June 25th and are the only Canadian dates on the Stadium Tour.

Brooks announced a second show earlier this week after selling out 61,000 tickets for the first concert in 45 minutes last week.

Tickets are $104.95, all inclusive for an in-the-round experience. They are on sale via Ticketmaster, 1-877-654-2784 or through the Ticketmaster App on your mobile phone.

One city remains to be announced as the Stadium Tour concludes with five sold out shows in Dublin, Ireland this September. Four hundred thousand tickets sold out within four hours, marking a new milestone for the country star who hasn’t performed in the city in 25 years.

Since the tour began in March 2019, Brooks has broken 24 attendance records and has sold an average of 90,000 tickets in each city. His largest single show so far on this trek is Baton Rouge with a sell out of 102,000 ticket sellout in two hours which registered as a small earthquake during “Callin’ Baton Rouge.”

Brooks returned to Notre Dame last weekend after selling out the famed venue in October 2018. It was to be the conclusion of the Stadium Tour, but was extended a few months due to the pandemic and venue availability.

He recently sold out his first-ever headlining appearance at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX which prompted standing room tickets to be offered at half price. Additional shows were added in Nashville (which we attended), Cincinnati, Charlotte and Foxborough. They were among the six cities that were canceled due to rising COVID cases last summer.

This summer, Brooks is returning to Salt Lake City for two more shows after selling out the venue in less than 30 minutes in 2021. The second show is Saturday, June 18th and sold more than 50,000 tickets in 45 minutes before quickly selling out last week. Overwhelming demand prompted a new show for June 17th which sold out 40,000 tickets in 40 minutes.

The second to last on sale will be an appearance in Buffalo, NY on Saturday, July 23rd at Highmark Stadium. This will be Brooks’ first time at the home of the Buffalo Bills and his first appearance in the city in seven years and the last for the New York, Ontario and Pennsylvania areas.
