More than 400k ticket sold

“What was supposed to start it all, now is where it all ends.” Brooks put the exclamation point on his record-breaking Stadium Tour by announcing the last stop of the tour will be in Dublin, Ireland where Thursday, he sold over 400,000 tickets for the Stadium Tour finale next September. A feat done by Brooks in 2014 to start the Comeback Tour in Dublin, but due to unforeseen circumstances, all five shows were cancelled.

“I never dreamed we’d get the chance to try this again. I’m so grateful to all who made this happen,” Brooks says in a statement.

An estimated 180,000 ticket buyers showed up for the chance to purchase tickets to two shows. Forty minutes into the on sale, a third show was added. Shows number four and five were added at the top of the hour.

The concerts will be September 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th and 17th of next year and are being promoted by Aiken Promotions.

The five Dublin shows are the only European dates on the three year trek. Sixteen other dates are expected to be announced for the States which will wrap in August 2022. Earlier this year, Brooks canceled the remaining 2021 dates due to the COVID resurgence towards the end of summer.

The last leg of the Stadium Tour begins with the on sale next week for Fayetteville, AR, at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Tickets will be on sale, Friday, December 3rd at 10 am CT via Ticketmaster.

Brooks is currently performing at smaller more intimate venues through the rest of 2021 due to easier enforcement of vaccination status. He continues his Dive Bar Tour with a stop at Club Rodeo in San Jose on December 16th. KRTY has three ways to win through email and calling contests.

Brooks just wrapped a three night mini residency at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House and Ryman Auditorium which he teases is a precurser to the fall of 2022. All three shows were not sold to capacity but sold out within minutes.
