SiriusXM Zoom chat with Storme Warren set for April 26th
Garth Brooks will kick off this year’s Cheyenne Frontier Days celebration with special guest Ned LeDoux on Friday, July 23rd with a sold out show. Tickets went on sale on April 15th and sold out within an hour. Many fans were put in the queue but were unable to secure tickets.
The event set a two-day cumulative sales record with 104,619 tickets sold for all events which includes headlining concerts by Thomas Rhett, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Maren Morris, and others.
“We are grateful for the support of all these fans that continue to support CFD Night Shows and Rodeo,” shares Bob Romeo, Chairman of Romeo Entertainment Group. “As we all recover from the COVID pandemic, this milestone is a testament to the power of live entertainment and the amazing artists that stuck with us and agreed to be a part of this stellar 125th Anniversary celebration. We look forward to continuing the long tradition of bringing the biggest and best musical acts to Cheyenne.”
The 125th Cheyenne Frontier Days celebration is dedicated to the legendary Chris LeDoux, honoring his ties to the rodeo and music worlds and his place in Cheyenne Frontier Days history. A bronze statue of LeDoux will be added to the sculpture collection on Frontier Park with a dedication ceremony on July 23rd.
Brooks is set to resume The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour on July 10th with a sold out show in Las Vegas, marking the first live event at Allegiant Stadium.
Brooks’ two other announced 2020 stadium dates have been postponed multiple times due to social distancing restrictions. The Cincinnati date — originally scheduled for Paul Brown Stadium for May 16th, but rescheduled for June 27th, and then for May 1st — will now happen on September 18th with Charlotte — originally scheduled for Bank of America Stadium on May 2nd, and then rescheduled for June 13th, then bumped again to October 10th and then to April 10th — will now happen on September 25th. All tickets for each original date will be honored for the respective new ones.
Brooks also confirms that other stadium tour dates are going to be announced soon. He says that some stadiums are going to require masks and choose not to serve concessions for safety purposes.
A date is finally set for the Zoom interview Brooks did with good friend and SiriusXM host Storme Warren. The Q&A fan chat was recorded on April 1st and lasted for four hours. However, The Garth Channel on SiriusXM channel 55 will air a one hour highlights special on April 26th at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT.
