Gainesville, FL concert now sold out

Garth Brooks has set the record for largest crowd of any non-athletic event at the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, FL. Over 75,500 tickets have been sold and the concert is now sold out.

It’s the first Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Concert in 25 years. The concert will be Saturday, April 20th at 7 pm.

Brooks is set to kick off his Garth Brooks Stadium Tour this weekend with a sold out show at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis. The concert is Saturday, March 9th at 7 pm. The tour is presented by Amazon Music.

Last year, Brooks announced he was embarking on a three year North American stadium run. The tour will hit 10-12 cities per year for three years.

“I wanted to call it the ‘big ass stadium tour’, but they voted me down on that one,” Brooked joked at the media event. “This is the most time I’ve ever put into anything … All the logistics of it is a step up for me.”

Brooks will also be performing to a sold out crowd at Glendale, AZ on March 23rd with Cody Johnson opening. The stadium tour is in the round staging with all six announced dates now sold out.
