Brooks wraps his massive three year tour on December 23rd
Toys for Tots will be at the Garth Brooks concerts in Nashville. The organization will be located outside the Plaza entrance and the side entrance near the bar of the Bridgestone Arena for the remainder of the shows December 15th through 23rd.
The Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation accepts new, unwrapped toys, books, and bikes for distribution to the local communities for children up to 15 years old. They ask, please do not drop off any toys that can function as a weapon.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. To help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas. To play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children. To unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign and to contribute to better communities in the future.
Nashville is the final stop of the Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood that began in September 2014 in Chicago. The tour has sold more than 6.4 million tickets, making it the biggest North American tour in history and the biggest American tour in the world.
Brooks also scored his 20th No. 1 hit with “Ask Me How I Know.” This marks Brooks’ return to the top after a ten year and three month gap when “More Than A Memory” debuted at the top on September 15, 2007. The feat also marks a full-circle moment for Brooks, and has scored a chart topper in each of the past four decades.
Earlier this month, Brooks sold out two concerts at RODEOHOUSTON in Houston, TX in just 18 minutes for 2018. The concerts will be the opening and closing nights February 27th and March 18th. This will be the first time that one artist both opens and closes the rodeo.
