Live July 7th concert postponed

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are postponing all livestream events for two weeks due to COVID-19. The country superstar couple is fine, but someone in their camp may have been exposed to COVID-19. The pair are postponing their July 7th Facebook concert, Brooks’ Inside Studio G and Yearwood’s T’s Coffee Talk for two weeks out of an abundance of caution while everyone quarantines.

On July 7th, Brooks and Yearwood were set to recreate their March 23rd casual, at-home concert from Facebook that saw more than 5.2 million viewers watch and crash the online outlet and sparked a CBS network special called Garth & Trisha Live!

Brooks just released the timely new single “We Belong To Each Other” via social media that unites the world through love without being preachy.

Music is the greatest healer and also the greatest equalizer. A lot of people have asked how I feel about what is going on in the world right now… and music is where I turn to answer that question — We Belong to Each Other, We are Sister and Brother… ALL OF US. We must not divide, but unite,” Brooks shares.

The inspirational track was initially shared as a lyric video by ABC’s Robin Roberts on June 15th before Brooks released it via social media the following day. Brooks made the offer to Roberts while he was promoting his drive-in concert special that saw more than 350k people attend.
