Gashi announces sixth studio album

The Killah Whales of Gotham is due later this month

Multi-platinum recording artist Gashi is back to announce his new album The Killah Whales of Gotham, due out June 27th via Orca Sound Records. The long-awaited LP follows last year’s critically acclaimed Brooklyn Cowboy project.

The Killah Whales of Gotham blends intense energy with raw emotion, capturing the rapper’s signature ability to turn his music into larger-than-life moments. Across 17 tracks, the album dives into slick production, hard-hitting bars, and moments of vulnerability.

The LP is anchored by standout singles like “Rings” featuring G-Eazy, an anthem inspired by New York basketball glory. The album also features the emotionally charged “Halos & Dracos” with Jimi Banks, the sleek and fashion-forward “Manicures on Board,” and the slow-burn “Pen Pals.” Together, these tracks set the tone for an album that’s confident and unafraid to switch lanes.

The upcoming album blends high-concept storytelling with street elegance. It’s Gashi at his most reflective and refined, owning every side of himself in full view. From orchestral textures and fashion-forward lyrics to raw verses and vulnerable hooks, this album is built to be both timeless and personal.
