Gavin Adcock surprised on stage with new RIAA certifications

Warner Music Nashville & Warner Records teams present the rising country star with four certification plaques

One year after announcing his signing to Warner Music Nashville and Warner Records at Barstool Nashville during CMA Fest, Gavin Adcock returned to the very same stage for a special surprise on Thursday (June 5th) at Warner Music Nashville Presents: Heatwave House. Joined by his label teams, Adcock was presented with four RIAA certification plaques — platinum for “A Cigarette,” and gold for “Run Your Mouth,” “Deep End,” and “Four Leaf Clover,” marking a major milestone in his breakout career.

“Last night, a year ago, Gavin Adcock stood on this stage for the very first time. And, a year ago today, Gavin Adcock signed his recording contract with Warner Nashville and Warner Records. 365 days, that’s it!” stated Warner Music Nashville’s Co-Chair/Co-President, Cris Lacy.

Addressing the packed room, Lacy added, “It’s because of ALL OF YOU that Gavin Adcock has amassed over a billion global streams.”

Adcock replied, “Thank you all you fans for making this possible. This is unbelievable y’all. I’ve been a country music fan my whole life. It’s an honor to make music for the great people of this country and play music in every state to every fan.”

After the eruption of fans cheering and chanting the singer’s name subsided, Lacy concluded with, “To Gavin, keep running your mouth, ‘cause it’s working my friend!”

Adcock’s meteoric year included the release of his album Actin’ Up Again, which was crowned the largest major-label country debut from a solo male artist released in 2024, with more than 15 million on-demand U.S. streams the week of release. Adcock earned a nomination for New Male Artist of the Year at the 60th ACM Awards, and embarked on multiple high-energy headline tours, including the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Gavin Adcock, boasting 31 out of 34 sold out dates, and his 30+ date Actin’ Up Again (Again) Tour which was completely sold out. The country music disruptor is currently on his latest headline tour, Need To Tour, which kicked off in May. He will also appear on select dates of Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour this summer.

Since the start of 2025, Adcock has continued delivering new music to his devoted fanbase, whose support has helped him surpass over a billion global streams. His latest music includes “Loose Strings,” “Need To,” “Unlucky Strikes,” “Never Call Again,” “On One,” and “Morning Bail.”
