George Strait, Taylor Swift among added ACM Awards presenters

The Academy of Country Music and dick clark productions have announced that David Nail, George Strait, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood have been added as presenters on the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The ceremony, which will be co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton, will be broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 6th at 8 pm live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.

These artists join previously announced presenters including Thea Andrews, Garth Brooks, Guy Fieri, LL COOL J, Jewel, Olivia Munn, Nancy O’Dell, Chris O’Donnell, Darius Rucker, Clay Walker, Trisha Yearwood and Florida Georgia Line. Performers during the star studded event include Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley with Sheryl Crow, Lee Brice, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Justin Moore, Kip Moore, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Shakira, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Keith Urban, The Band Perry, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum with legendary musician Stevie Nicks and Rascal Flatts.

RAM Country on Yahoo Music will exclusively live stream this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards Red Carpet Pre-show on web and via the Yahoo Screen App. The live stream takes place Sunday, April 4th at 6:30 pm ET/3:30 pm PT.

Great American Country (GAC) is the TV home for ACM Red Carpet coverage. ACM Red Carpet Live airs Sunday, April 6th at 6:30 pm EST will feature interviews with the top stars appearing on the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Hosts Suzanne Alexander, Nan Kelley and Storme Warren will chat with nominees from a variety of categories, asking the questions on viewers’ minds from what they’re wearing to what they enjoy most about the special night. “Suzanne, Nan and Storme have a blast on what’s become one of the top star-studded and fun carpets of the year,” said Great American Country Vice President of Programming Suzanne Gordon. “The 90-minute format allows fans to get even more of the experience of being up close with the stars.”

GAC is also the place for exclusive and complete ACM Awards wrap up coverage – backstage interviews with winners, show highlights and memorable moments – on Headline Country, Thursday, April 10th at 3:30 pm EST and Top 20 Country Countdown on Friday, April 11th at 6 pm EST.
