New POP! Rocks collection features a variety of musicians
Green Day, Pearl Jam, TLC and Korn’s Jonathan Davis are among the new Funko POP! Rocks figures coming in 2021. Each figure was announced during its Popapalooza 2021
Green Day will see Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt as statues in their American Idiot outfits. Each will be sold separately.
However, Pearl Jam will be immortalized in a special five pack collection featuring Mike McCready, Jeff Ament, Eddie Vedder, Matt Cameron, and Stone Gossard. Each figure ranges in height from approximately 3.75-inches to 4-inches tall. The Pearl Jam Funko’s are not listed as being sold separately at this time.
Nineties hip hop all-female trio TLC will get the POP! Rocks treatment in their CrazySexyCool getups. T-Boz will be decked in an orange shirt, Chili with red hat and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez with green hat. Each one will be available individually.
BTS, which has been given the POP treatment before, will be immortalized in their “Dynamite” video attire. RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook will each get released individually and as a Walmart exclusive seven pack. Mini keychain versions of each member will also be offered.
Korn frontman Jonathan Davis will get treated in a purple outfit, and will be available at EMP in the UK & Europe before being widely available in November.
Other Funko POP! Rocks figures announced for the back half of the year include Jimi Hendrix dressed in his Live in Maui performance outfit, John Lennon in his military jacket, Iron Maiden’s Eddie in two new configurations, Yungblud dressed a cupid with crown of thorns and bow and arrow, and Twenty One Pilots, Boyz II Men, and DJ Khaled all in their signature attire.
The POP! Album collection continues with the 40th anniversary of Ozzy Osbourne’s Diary of a Madman and rapper Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death. Both POP! figures are dressed as they appear on each respective album cover and are packaged with the album art in a protective case that can be hung on a wall. Each vinyl figure is approximately 4.25-inches tall.
