Green Day to headline Hyde Park concert

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day will headline the fifth annual British Summer Time Hyde Park concert, in London’s historic park, on July 1, 2017. Presented by Barclaycard, the concert has been host to some of music’s biggest live acts, including The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, The Who, and Taylor Swift in previous years.

Green Day is gearing up to release its new album, Revolution Radio, on October 7th via Reprise Records. The band will play a special in-store performance at Rough Trade NYC in Brooklyn on release day. To gain entry, fans must purchase the new album at Rough Trade the day of the show (not online). Sales will begin on October 7th at 11 am. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the band will perform at 7 pm.

In addition, Green Day will perform and be interviewed on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show on October 5th and will perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on October 6th. The band is currently on the road for a series of intimate club shows in the U.S. in support of the album.

Produced by Green Day and recorded in Oakland, Revolution Radio is a potent 12 track blitz of angst-ridden anthems that unites Green Day’s fully formed stylistic approach with lyrical themes that address the complexities and uncertainties of modern day existence.
