Guns N Roses reschedule 2020 European tour dates

Rescheduled shows start June 2021

Guns N Roses has rescheduled its 2020 European tour dates due to COVID-19. The trek has been pushed to summer 2021, kicking off June 2nd in Lisbon, Portugal and wraps June 30th in Munich, Germany. Just like the rescheduled North American dates it announced last week, some of the European dates had to be canceled due to routing issues.

“Picking up where we left off last week, most of our 2020 European tour dates are being rescheduled to June of 2021. The dates kick off in Lisbon, Portugal on June 2nd, 2021,” the band writes. “Unfortunately, due to routing and venue availability issues that developed during the postponement process, a select few shows were not able to be rescheduled and have been canceled. We are forever grateful for your understanding and continued support during these unprecedented times. We are looking forward to getting back on stage.”

The rescheduled North American tour dates kick off July 10th at Milwaukee’s Summerfest and wrap on August 19th in Los Angeles.

The band is rumored to be working on new material. It would be the follow up to its 2008 long-awaited album, Chinese Democracy, and be the first in nearly 30 years to feature Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan together. Its Greatest Hits collection is coming to vinyl for the first time ever as a 2 LP set on 180-gram audiophile black vinyl, a 2 LP set on silver colored vinyl with red and white splatter, plus a 2 LP picture disc available exclusively through the band’s official store. The vinyl edition will also feature the band’s single “Shadow of Your Love,” which hit No. 5 on the mainstream rock chart. Originally recorded in December 1986, “Shadow of Your Love” made its debut on the 2018 box set Appetite For Destruction.
