The trek kicks off at a popular Nashville venue
Iowa-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Hailey Whitters will headline the Corn Queen Tour this fall in support of her critically-acclaimed new album Corn Queen out now via Pigasus Records/Big Loud Records/Songs & Daughters. The tour will kick off on September 4th with a performance at the popular Opryland area venue, The Nashville Palace, followed by shows in Des Moines (in her home state of Iowa), Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago and more.
Whitters has also announced a Corn Court contest where she will crown a Corn Queen & King at every date on her upcoming Corn Queen Tour. Each winner will receive a backstage meet and greet with Hailey before the show for each winner and one guest, signed merch, a one-of-a-kind “Corn Queen” or “Corn King” sash, and of course, a corn crown.
Tonight (Tues, June 10th), Whitters will perform at the Grand Ole Opry following a packed release week celebration that included an album release party at Skinny Dennis presented by Holler, an in-store performance and signing at Grimey’s and a performance at Spotify House as part of CMA Fest.
On Friday, Whitters released the official video for the ethereal “White Limousine,” directed by Beth Brinker, that tells the story of a small town girl with fantasies of the glitz and glamour of a faraway life.
Corn Queen features collaborations including “I Don’t Want You” featuring Charles Wesley Godwin, “DanceMor” featuring The Wilder Blue, and “Prodigal Daughter” featuring Molly Tuttle.
