Hanson announces additional Australian shows

Second Perth & Melbourne shows follow first ones that quickly sold out

Hanson expands their Australian and New Zealand tour to eight dates after adding second Perth and Melbourne shows. The trio quickly sold out the original concerts in each city, prompting the new shows for November 7th in Perth and November 17th in Melbourne. The brothers will be supporting their new Red Green Blue album, which was released last month via 3CG Records.

“We’re always excited to visit Australia and we’ve been blown away by the response to the RGB World Tour. What better way is there to celebrate selling out our Melbourne and Perth shows than to add more shows?” states Taylor Hanson.

Frontier Members will have access to the new Perth and Melbourne shows during the 24-hour presale beginning Thursday, June 23rd at 2 pm local time. The general public on sale will follow from Monday, June 27th at 2 pm local time. Tickets to Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Auckland are selling fast.

Red Green Blue is Hanson’s 11th studio album – a unique combination of three solo-led projects, bringing together Isaac, Taylor and Zac’s creative voices like never before, with each brother producing a third of the album (Taylor’s Red, Isaac’s Green, and Zac’s Blue). The record is co-produced by Grammy Award-winning producer, engineer and mixer Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wilco), and Grammy Award-winning artist and producer David Garza (Fiona Apple, Midland), and features the pre-released tracks “Child At Heart,” “Write You A Song” and “Don’t Let Me Down.”

Beginning in June in Europe, the Red Green Blue World Tour will bring Hanson to the US and Canada from July-September, Latin America in September, and Australia & New Zealand in November. The band’s first major tour since their String Theory album and tour in 2018-2019, fans will be in store for a tour which not only features the premiere of 15 songs from the new project but will also be the first tour to include live performances of 2020’s Against The World as well as career-spanning set lists of fan favorites. The US and Canada leg of the tour is produced by Live Nation while the Australian and New Zealand trek is produced by Frontier Touring and Chugg Entertainment.
