Styles was to perform in Denmark on July 3rd

Harry Styles has canceled his Copenhagen show Sunday (July 3rd) following a shooting at busy mall near the Royal Arena. The Associated Press confirms that three are dead and three more critically wounded after a 22 year old gunman opened fire inside Field’s, one of the biggest shopping malls in Scandinavia located on the outskirts of the Danish capital on Sunday.

“I’m heartbroken along with the people of Copenhagen. I adore this city. The people are so warm and full of love,” Styles shares on social media. “I’m devastated for the victims, their families, and everyone hurting. I’m sorry we couldn’t be together. Please look after each other.”

There’s been no word if the Copenhagen show will be rescheduled or is canceled altogether. Styles performs next in Paris on July 5th.

Styles is currently on his global 2022 Love On Tour which wraps in Latin America in December. In August, Styles brings the trek to North America where all 42 dates have sold out. The North American run will allow fans to have access to multiple nights in each major city turning iconic venues into Harry’s House for the run of shows.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour now includes 42 nights at many of North America’s most notable venues, kicking off on Monday, August 15th and Tuesday, August 16th at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON. Styles will continue his residencies in New York City for 15 nights at Madison Square Garden, Austin for five nights at Moody Center, and Chicago for five nights at United Center, before wrapping up at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum for 15 night run concluding on Tuesday, November 15th.

In the wake of recent mass shootings across the US, including the horrific events that took place in Uvalde, Texas in May, Styles will be donating proceeds from the tour, with Live Nation matching, equaling over $1 million to Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund – the education, research, and litigation arm of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country.

The tour is in support of his new album Harry’s House which broke the modern-era record for the largest sales week for a vinyl album in the US by moving 146k units within its first week of release in mid-May. Styles’ latest album beats the previous single-week sales record set by Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) which sold 114k vinyl copies in the week ending November 18, 2021.
